You will be taken to at least 4 of North Canterbury’s boutique vineyards. Our experienced driver will pick you up from your accommodation anywhere in Christchurch. Our driver will pick you up from the garden city based on your choice of pickup time and we drive 45 minutes north to the Waipara Valley. Few minutes after the tour commenced, you will be on state highway 1 which takes you straight to the Waipara region. Never miss the satisfying sceneries the state highway offers on either side. Depends on the season of traveling, you could see various cultivations, wandering cattle, etc on the plains and valleys. Our driver can help you taking pictures to make your trip more memorable.

There are around 40 vineyards and wineries in this region and many of them offer tasty cuisines as well. This Northern Canterbury valley is well known for its dry climate and alluvial soils which flourish the grape production mainly Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay. You will get the chance for wine tasting from leading wineries such as Pegasus Bay, Waipara Springs, Torlesse, and Waipara Hills Winery and if any of them is unavailable on the tour day, we will come up with another winery option.

This tour includes lunch at the Waipara Springs Winery where you can have romantic lunch with your partner. In the summer months, you can enjoy your lunch in the garden setting of the wineries. The platter lunch includes cuisines of both local and New Zealand flavors, which surely will be a great combination with the tasty wines.
